Duck with Sour Cherry and Port Sauce
This was a really super plate of food. However, the star of the show was definitely the Port and Sour Cherry Sauce.
The recipe caters for 6 people however, if you are cooking for less than 6 any leftover sauce can be frozen and used for another time or, the initial quantity reduced.
The Duck was succulent and delicious, the sauce had everything, a little sweetness, sourness and richness.
The ribbons of Parsnips were light, crispy and added a nice touch to the dish.
