Garlic Hummus and Grilled Mushrooms
Thanks to my step-daughter Julia gifting me with the Ottolenghi recipe books for Christmas, I found this fantastic dish to try. Delicious on its own served with breads, it also made for a great side dish with Steak.
It worth making your own hummus, however some shop brought ones are most acceptable these days especially if your short on time. The mushrooms though have to be made fresh, and if you think you may have left over hummus keep some of the Mushrooms back for the next day. Leaving them sitting on the hummus makes the mushrooms lose their meatiness.
