To produce this dish does take some time.

You need to make the base sauce however the quantity given does make several batches which can be frozen for future use.

You also need to make the powder mix which is 3 Tablespoons of ground cumin, ground coriander, ground turmeric, 4 Tablespoons of curry powder and 1 Tablespoon of garam masala. Combine all these together and store until needed. Again, you are making more than is needed however, it does keep well in an airtight jar and keep it in the dark too, spices do not like sunlight.

Once you have made these two key components the rest is simple. You can use either plain pre cooked chicken for the recipe or, if like me you prefer even more flavour then you can choose to use Chicken Tikka.

It is so worth the effort to make this curry and it tastes so much better homemade.
